Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team at Taiga Building Products. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload materials, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner
  • Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the warehouse and surrounding areas
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve warehouse goals and objectives
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent safety record and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Valid forklift certification

Work Schedule:
