Countertop Installer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Countertop Installer to join our team at Costa Marble & Granite. As a Countertop Installer, you will be responsible for installing countertops in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine Layout and Installation Procedures: Plan and execute the installation of countertops, ensuring accurate measurements and precise cuts.
  • Document and Prepare Invoices and Work Orders: Maintain accurate records of installations, including invoices and work orders.
  • Measure and Mark Guidelines: Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring precise placement and alignment.
  • Prepare and Maintain Work Materials and Supplies: Organize and maintain a clean and efficient workspace, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are readily available.
  • Utilize Hand and Power Tools: Safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
  • Erect and Install Scaffolding: Set up and install scaffolding and working platforms, ensuring a safe working environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically Demanding: This role requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate installations and quality workmanship.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as measuring and cutting, with precision and efficiency.
Weight Handling:
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs): Lift and move heavy materials, including countertops and tools.

Experience:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year: Possess relevant experience in countertop installation, including training and on-the-job experience.
