Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Compensation Consulting practice, you will work closely with clients to design and implement effective compensation strategies that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices, and trends.
- Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with business objectives and drive employee engagement.
- Collaborate with clients to design and implement job evaluation and job classification systems.
- Analyze clients' strategic, financial, and organizational information to provide insights that inform rewards and talent solutions.
- Develop and present client recommendations to boards of directors, executives, senior management, and HR leaders.
- Design and implement executive compensation benchmarking programs for publicly traded organizations.
- Develop base salary and bonus programs for non-executive employees.
- Create role profiles and career path tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including hands-on participation in pay equity work.
- Experience in management consulting, total rewards, compensation, finance, human resources, or accounting.
- Experience in project management, data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation design.
- Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and a solid background in Excel.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing client needs.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, seeking opportunities to develop new skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- BComm, HBA/MBA, MIR, or related degrees, e.g., finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, human resources (HR), and/or accounting, or equivalent work experience.
