Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and settle claims across various categories including habitation, automobile, motorcycle, long haul trucking, and commercial.
- Assess coverage for claims and provide guidance to external vendors for effective investigation and management.
- Maintain accurate and timely claim reserves.
- Oversee the claims audit program to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Possess a valid Personal-lines Damage Insurance and Commercial-line Damage Insurance Claims Adjuster AMF permit.
- Hold or be in pursuit of a CIP or FCIP designation.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential for effective communication with colleagues and clients across provinces.
- Strong business writing capabilities.
- Able to manage multiple tasks within a dynamic claims department.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
