Job Title: Material Handler

Vijayani Vithanage is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Shipping orders and picking orders and stock
  • Weighing materials and goods
  • Making labels and attaching to goods
  • Providing customer service
  • Wrapping goods
  • Packing and unpacking goods
  • Installing, lashing, and securing goods
  • Storing cargo and materials
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory
  • Organizing inventories using computerized inventory control systems
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

As a Material Handler, you will be working in a warehouse or distribution center environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
