About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Project Manager to join our team at The Regional Municipality of Durham. As a key member of our community development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of housing projects that promote community growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with community stakeholders, including residents, community groups, and local organizations.
  • Housing Policy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement housing policies that align with the municipality's strategic objectives.
  • Program Evaluation: Conduct regular program evaluations to assess the effectiveness of housing projects and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to project team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as urban planning, community development, or project management.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in housing project management, community development, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
