About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Fast Frost Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Prepare detailed quotations and tenders for clients.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Start up systems and test for leaks using specialized testing devices.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems.
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as accuracy is paramount.
  • Manual dexterity is required for handling tools and equipment.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
