About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Laborer to join our team at 1464794 ONTARIO INC. As a Farm Laborer, you will play a critical role in the success of our farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the harvesting of crops, ensuring high-quality yields and efficient production processes.
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment, including tractors and vegetable harvesters, to optimize crop growth and minimize waste.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods, to meet the demands of our farm operations.
  • Collaborate with our team to achieve seasonal production goals, working under pressure to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our farm's operations, including equipment maintenance, crop rotation, and pest management.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; willingness to train and learn.
  • Experience: Willingness to learn and adapt to our farm's operations and equipment.
  • Work site environment: Outdoors, dusty, hot, noisy, wet/damp, and cold/refrigerated.
  • Work setting: Rural area.
  • Transportation/travel information: Own transportation required.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, hand-eye coordination, overtime required, ability to distinguish between colors, sound discrimination, standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling.
