Position Overview

Join our dedicated team at ALPENLOFTS INC as a Veterinary Technician. This role is essential in providing exceptional care to animals in a clinical environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in veterinary medicine, animal health, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary setting is an asset.
Work Environment

This position is based in an animal hospital, where you will work closely with veterinarians and other staff to ensure the health and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the handling, restraint, and care of animals during treatment and surgical procedures.
  • Support veterinarians before, during, and after surgical interventions.
  • Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Deliver treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Provide guidance to clients regarding animal health care practices.
  • Perform routine dental procedures and assist with animal dentistry.
  • Administer wound care and bandaging as necessary.
