We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Post-Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our team at CRD College of Health Care. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our instructors and students in a dynamic and fast-paced academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Education Support: Assist instructors in the preparation and administration of examinations, grade examinations, term papers, and laboratory reports.
- Research and Development: Conduct literature reviews, surveys, laboratory experiments, and other research for use in academic publications.
- Teaching and Learning: Lead discussion groups and seminars, conduct laboratory sessions to supplement lectures, and organize reference materials, visual aids, and other materials as required by instructors.
- Student Support: Answer inquiries from students, process files and paperwork, and provide general administrative support.
- Area of Work Experience: University or college teaching experience is required.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a teaching or education-related role.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Setting: Urban area.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 30 hours per week.
