Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Ready-Mix Specialist to join our team at Moncton Plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of ready-mix concrete to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a ready-mix concrete truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adjust equipment, valves, pumps, and controls, and process equipment as needed.
  • Mix chemicals and cements according to specifications.
  • Handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, cement, and other materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols, including driver's validity license check and driving record check.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, with attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Work overtime as required, with a focus on reliability and teamwork.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and a hardworking attitude are essential.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Group insurance benefits and pension plan available.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
