From the revitalization of downtown Winnipeg to building education and healthcare facilities for our remote northern communities, our work elevates the health, safety, and sustainability of the region.

The Winnipeg office serves as a central hub to a diverse team of design professionals working on projects across the public and private sectors, throughout the prairies and across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Producing technical design and contract documents in compliance with Owner's Statement of Requirements, in collaboration with project teams.
  • Working with senior team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements, and regulations.
  • Providing technical design solutions for facility construction, including interior and exterior assemblies.
  • Coordinating with project sub-consultants.
  • Providing technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.
  • Assisting with contract administration.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
  • 5+ years' working as an Architectural Technologist for an Architectural consulting firm.
  • Candidates must demonstrate substantial product knowledge and an ability to detail architectural building systems.
  • Awareness of energy and sustainability requirements in Canada.
  • Construction site experience is considered an asset.
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, BIM clash detection software, AutoCAD software, and Microsoft 365 environment.
