The Senior Manager, Architecture will collaborate closely with executive stakeholders, project leaders, systems analysts, software engineers, vendors, and infrastructure experts, sharing leadership responsibilities for system delivery and quality throughout various project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining and proposing Business Systems and Technology solutions as part of project leadership teams.
  • Designing comprehensive business application systems, including end-to-end solution components, to fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Architecting the integration of business applications with complex systems within a multi-company framework.
  • Overseeing the construction and implementation of all system components to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with other business, system, and enterprise architects to align solutions across the organization.

Core Competencies and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in designing, integrating, and implementing application solutions within large, complex systems environments, including the SAP ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering multi-platform business application solutions.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex solutions encompassing both automated and manual processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT industry technologies and trends.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in defining business strategies, processes, and systems across various business domains.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to thrive in team settings.
  • Effective communication and internal consulting skills, complemented by a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to distill complex and sensitive topics for effective communication with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Ability to navigate regulatory and privacy frameworks.

Additional Valued Competencies:

  • Knowledge of the Wealth Management/Capital Markets and Financial Services sectors.
  • Experience in delivering capabilities involving packaged/SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud implementations and migrations.
  • Understanding of the SAP ecosystem.
  • Awareness of integration platforms such as MuleSoft and SAP BTP.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem.
