Drywall Hanger Job Description

Clean Cuty Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Hanger to join our team. As a Drywall Hanger, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • Willing to relocate
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer
