As a Regional Branch Director, you will play a crucial role in leading our inside sales, counter sales, and operations teams to achieve smooth, efficient operations and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Marketing

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the region, ensuring visibility at the counter and customer sites.
  2. Responsible for achieving branch goals and objectives assigned by sales leadership, including profitability targets and recommended margin levels.
  3. Create and develop the annual branch sales budget, identifying new business opportunities to grow market share.
  4. Prepare for and participate in regularly scheduled sales and marketing meetings, organizing and hosting customer training and events throughout the year.

Leadership

  1. Provide day-to-day leadership for your teams, including Counter Sales, Inside Sales, Warehouse, and administrative employees.
  2. Mentor and coach employees to do their best work, collaborating with Human Resources to interview, hire, train, motivate, reward, discipline, address complaints, and resolve employee problems.
  3. Responsible for employee learning and development, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring overall efficiency and effectiveness of all functions.
  2. Lead by example, ensuring all aspects of Quality and ISO processes and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety.
  3. Responsible for Inventory Management at the branch, including cycle counting, turns, fill rates, inventory accuracy, and annual inventory counts.
  4. Ensure all marketing material and merchandising are well displayed, current, and well-stocked, including rotating stock and proper signage.

Quality

  1. Responsible for maintaining the role of Quality Representative for the branch.
  2. Responsible for ensuring the criteria in the "Branch Inspection Report" is adhered to and completed as required.

Requirements

  1. Post-secondary education (degree, diploma/certificate), preferably in an Electrical related discipline or Business Administration.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years Management experience within an electrical related environment.
  3. Must have organizational knowledge – industry, market, products, company, etc.
  4. Must possess a keen business acumen and act in line with the company's vision.
  5. Experience motivating, mentoring, and coaching employees.
  6. Exceptional communication skills, including both written and verbal.
  7. Additional skills required: strategic planning, negotiation, time management, and delegation.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
