Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of cargo.
  • Permits and Documents: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess an AZ class license and have experience with GPS navigation equipment.
  • Experience: Have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the transportation industry, with a focus on international routes.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
