Chief Information Security Officer

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Security Officer to lead our digital security efforts. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect against cyber threats
  • Conduct regular vulnerability testing and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards
  • Provide expert guidance on security best practices and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Cyber Security, with a strong background in security risk management and compliance
  • Proven experience with developing and implementing security measures in accordance with applicable ICDs, NISP, and other guiding government regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency with various computer applications and testing tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WASSP, MBSA, Nessus, etc.
  • Strong background and experience in assisting Information Systems Security Manager(s) in reporting and mitigation of information system security incidents
