We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Superintendent to join our team at 3221421 Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the activities of subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Site Management: Oversee the site operations, including planning, organizing, and controlling the construction process.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, manage budgets, and ensure that costs are controlled.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring that all work meets the required standards.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, including contractors, and ensure that they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other project team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems promptly, ensuring that the project stays on track.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in construction management, site management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and experience with MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and steel-toed safety boots.
