Job Title: General Duty Ultrasound Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Duty Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Shared Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to patients, working effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as requested by physicians.
  • Manage patient records and diagnostic files, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and maintain standards of excellence in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved and accredited Ultrasound training program.
  • Registered Ultrasound Technologist with active registration with Sonography Canada and/or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of patient care.
