Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at the Children\u2019s Institute of Development and Advancement Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Support clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Encourage clients to participate in regular exercise and activities, promoting their physical and mental health.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 30 to 35 hours per week.
