Position Summary:

We are seeking a Grounds Management Lead to oversee the year-round maintenance of commercial properties. This role is crucial in ensuring that our teams deliver high-quality service while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of multiple commercial properties, ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Supervise grounds-keeping teams, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and workmanship.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of site operations, including critical infrastructure such as alarm systems, utility rooms, and maintenance areas.
  • Implement effective snow and ice management strategies during winter months, ensuring safety and accessibility.
  • Utilize strong decision-making skills to address challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
  • Foster a culture of dedication and motivation within the team, promoting a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Horticultural Studies, Landscape Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in a supervisory role within the landscape or property maintenance industry.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
