Heavy Materials Handler

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Materials Handler to join our team at Nickel City Steel Limited. As a Heavy Materials Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Loading and unloading products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
- Shipping orders and picking orders and stock
- Providing customer service and wrapping goods
- Packing and unpacking goods, sorting, crating, and stacking goods
- Installing, lashing, and securing goods, storing cargo and materials, and organizing and maintaining inventory
- Rough terrain forklift training and Forklift Operator Certification
- Overhead Crane Certification
- Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, overhead crane, and steel industry experience
- Bondable and valid driver's licence
- Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, bending, crouching, kneeling, and large workload
- Health care plan and pension plan
Our work site environment is outdoors, and our work setting is in a manufacture environment.
