Role Overview

In the capacity of Senior Multiplayer Engineer, your primary focus will be on architecting and executing multiplayer technologies for enduring gaming experiences. You will work in tandem with various talented development teams, contributing to project scope, planning, and ensuring superior product quality through comprehensive technical documentation and processes.

Your Contributions

  • Design and sustain robust netcode for game clients and servers, addressing lag compensation, client-side prediction, and game object replication.
  • Evaluate technical design documents, providing architectural insights for multiplayer functionalities.
  • Seamlessly integrate network capabilities into gameplay mechanics by collaborating closely with game designers and other engineering teams.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in mobile game development utilizing Unity3D.
  • Proven track record as a network programmer for released multiplayer titles.
  • Thorough understanding of game networking frameworks, protocols, socket programming, and real-time communication technologies.
  • Expertise in C#, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
  • Familiarity with network profiling, debugging, and optimization tools to enhance performance.
  • Dedication to developing with unit and integration testing in mind.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and ability to excel in an agile setting.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
