At Precision Analytics, our software development team plays a critical role in driving our business forward. We rely on our developers to empower our data science team and collaborate with clients to understand and deliver their requirements.

We utilize a wide range of technologies and continuously adopt new ones to stay at the forefront of scientific approaches. We're seeking an intermediate/senior software developer to join our small team. As a key member, you'll work directly with our clients, from small biotechnology start-ups to large pharmaceutical manufacturers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of project components, exploring new data sources, and integrating them into our data pipeline. You may also be required to translate specialized workflows into user-friendly web applications or extend existing applications with new features requested by clients.

We're looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in software development, data modeling, and database design. Your experience with Linux, cloud computing, and scientific data will be valuable assets in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software applications using various programming languages
  • Collaborate with data scientists to integrate new data sources into our pipeline
  • Develop and maintain web servers, ensuring high performance and security
  • Work with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a software developer
  • Strong understanding of Linux, cloud computing, and scientific data
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
