About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Fox Canada Painting & Decorating. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a professional finish.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and coordinate the work to ensure timely completion.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure a professional finish and meet client expectations.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination to perform tasks such as painting and wallpapering.
  • Color Perception: Possess the ability to distinguish between colors and ensure accurate color matching.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling, and work in a variety of environments, including indoors and outdoors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and decorating.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
