Job Title: Bus and Truck Mechanic

Vardy Villa Limited is seeking a skilled Bus and Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bus and Truck Mechanic to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engines, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with commercial vehicles
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a garage or workshop environment, with exposure to dust, dirt, heat, and noise.
