About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Processing Sanitation Worker to join our team at AAHAR FOODS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our food processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Industrial Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate industrial vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, and other cleaning equipment to remove debris, dirt, and other refuse from our food processing areas.
  • Empty Waste Containers: Regularly empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of our equipment and facilities, and perform minor repairs on appliances as needed.
  • Safety and Security Checks: Conduct regular safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our employees and the integrity of our operations.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and be able to lift, bend, and move equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Work Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a food processing or sanitation role is an asset.
Work Environment

As a Food Processing Sanitation Worker at AAHAR FOODS INC., you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated professionals. You will be required to work 35 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Language and Work Schedule

The primary language of work is English, and you will be required to work in a team environment with colleagues who speak English as their primary language.
