Position Overview

As a Material Handler at Dhaliwal Welding Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of materials and products within our operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring smooth logistics and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load, unload, and transport products and materials using manual handling techniques and basic equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various machinery to facilitate the movement of materials and products.
  • Order Picking: Accurately pick and stock orders to meet operational demands.
  • Weight Measurement: Weigh materials and goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Labeling: Create and affix labels to goods for identification and tracking.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to customers as needed.
  • Packaging: Wrap goods securely for storage and transport.
  • Sorting and Stacking: Sort, crate, and stack goods efficiently to optimize space.
  • Transportation: Distribute materials and goods to designated areas.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
