About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technologist to join our Power Distribution group within the Infrastructure Department at Agnico Eagle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, review, and maintain control drawings, P&ID, SLD, and BOM to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide electrical technical support for Capital Projects department and develop electrical SOW.
  • Review and comment on IFR drawings, plan and schedule work for the electrical construction team, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Related Technical Diploma or Engineering Degree.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration, medium and high voltage distribution systems, protection and control, switchgear, breakers, MCC's, VFD's, and process control systems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands and modify decisions and actions in response to changing information and circumstances.
  • Experience working in a remote site is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
