We are seeking a highly skilled Security and Healthcare Technology Specialist to join our team in the Security and Healthcare Technology division. This role will involve working on various electronic systems, including Nurse Call, RTLS, Audio, Video, Paging, Intercom, Security/Access Control, Telecommunication, and Video Surveillance.
Your responsibilities- Design, assemble, service, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic systems for healthcare and security applications.
- Act as a subject matter expert resource for project managers to assist with technical difficulties or issues.
- Inspect project sites and provide accurate estimates of required equipment and time.
- Maintain and complete accurate as-builts and system documentation for projects.
- Train end-users on the operation of provided systems.
- Develop and implement solutions to resolve interfacing or intercommunication problems between disparate systems.
- Commission and configure hardware and software for deployment/installation.
- Create and provide internal technical training resources and sessions for Houle team members.
- Training in security/healthcare systems and products, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
- Certification in at least one of the following platforms: Genetec, Kantech, Lenel, Milestone, Ascom Telligence, GuardRFID, or Sonitor.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in a similar role, with technical expertise in related systems.
- Experience with integration and middleware engines in the security/healthcare product space.
- Familiarity with SNMP, BACNET IP, MODBUS, and other platform-agnostic messaging protocols.
- Knowledge of various programming and computer languages, including C#, Python, and T-SQL.
- Knowledge of web-based technologies, protocols, and languages/mechanisms, including API, REST, SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, ISS, Web servers, JSON, XML, and SQL.
- Knowledge of various networking protocols and technologies.
- Ability to work in various government institutions and willingness to travel and work in other regions for short periods of time.

Salary range: $60,000 - $100,000 per year, plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and overall match to the position offered.
