Acoustical Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Acoustical Consultant to join our dynamic team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our Environment & Health division, you will play a crucial role in providing state-of-the-art scientific, technical, and strategic risk management knowledge to our international client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects involving environmental noise assessments, noise mitigation design, and acoustical specification.
  • Complete project noise analyses that include acoustical modeling (CadnaA, Sound Plan, or similar) and mitigation design/specification.
  • Lead sound level surveys and related field work in a range of environments from busy urban areas to remote locations.
  • Critically review and interpret local, state, provincial, and federal environmental regulations affecting the siting, design, construction, and operation of projects.

Requirements:

  • ~ 5 to 10 years of experience in acoustical consulting, preferably with considerable focus in the field of environmental noise assessments.
  • ~ Solid skills with office software tools (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneNote).
  • ~ Environmental acoustical modeling software skills.
  • ~ Ability to work well independently and at remote job sites.
