Key Responsibilities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to prevent quality issues.

Prepare Budgets and Reports

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and submit reports to management as required.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment is required.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Physical Capabilities

Standing for extended periods and walking are required.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player are essential.

Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule

35 to 40 hours per week.
