Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Ocean Resort Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets; distribute clean towels and toiletries; stock linen closet.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items; provide basic information on facilities.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Additional Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; wash windows, walls, and ceilings; clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
