About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Maintenance Technician to join our team at APEX ALUMINUM EXTRUSIONS LTD. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on factory equipment, including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production.
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing, ensuring smooth production and quality control.
  • Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend replacement of machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and reliability skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with a focus on safety and quality. The role requires the ability to work at heights, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
