Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Customer Quality Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's quality standards are met and exceeded through engineering methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on the design and development of new products from concept to production
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues that arise
  • Assist in reviewing current products and research control options; Putting in place plans to add the appropriate controls to all fixtures
  • Involved in the design/development/testing of new and existing products
  • Support quality testing by reviewing test plans
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Education in Electrical Engineering
  • 3 - 5 years related electrical and quality engineering experience
  • Strong lighting controls experience
  • Understanding/knowledge of lighting basics, solid state lighting, LED arrays and PCB design
  • Theory-of-operation knowledge and understanding of LED's, electrical power supply and drive circuitry, heat sink thermodynamics, optics, and general knowledge of Solid-State Lighting components
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
