Job Title: Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at the City of Edmonton. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us make data-driven decisions and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain databases, data visualizations, and reports to support business intelligence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Design and implement research studies to evaluate program effectiveness and inform business strategy
  • Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders through clear and concise reporting
Requirements:
  • University degree in a related field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, computer science)
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence
  • Advanced skills in data visualization, statistical analysis, and data wrangling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
