About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Aesthetic Constructions Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing high-quality floor coverings that meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and markings.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Prepare detailed flooring plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Tendering and Quoting: Prepare and submit tenders and quotations to clients, providing accurate estimates of costs and materials.
  • Installation: Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, hardwood floors, and other types of flooring.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests to ensure the quality of flooring installations.
  • Estimation and Procurement: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and procure necessary supplies.
  • Removal and Preparation: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, and prepare surfaces for new installations.
  • Specialized Installations: Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces, and install resilient stair components for visually impaired individuals.
  • Counter Top and Platform Installations: Install materials on counter tops and raised platforms.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders in English.
  • Work Hours: Work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
