About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Enerflex. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing and parts inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and Procure Materials: Collaborate with suppliers to determine the best price and delivery lead-times for goods and services.
  • Expedite Materials: Ensure timely delivery of materials based on vendor promised dates and project scheduled dates.
  • Liaise with Internal Departments: Work closely with internal departments to ensure products ordered meet specifications.
  • Investigate and Resolve Purchase Order Variances: Identify and address any discrepancies in purchase orders.
  • Manage Inventory Levels: Collaborate with the Material Control Department to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Vendor Performance: Assess and provide feedback on vendor performance to the Purchasing Manager.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience in sales/distribution.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of oil and gas manufacturing materials, client requirements, product uses, sources, and market conditions. Excellent technical skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Certifications: Certification as a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is considered beneficial.
