Position Overview:The primary objective of the Customer Support Specialist is to facilitate seamless experiences for healthcare providers by delivering exceptional customer service that addresses inquiries, resolves issues, and eliminates barriers to product access.
This vital role is responsible for efficiently managing customer orders, responding to inquiries, and connecting customers with the appropriate personnel or teams. The Customer Support Specialist understands the demands of a busy healthcare environment and proactively anticipates customer needs, clearly communicating the next steps. Contract Details: This position is a 6-month contract role with benefits and potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage incoming customer and sales team emails to ensure accurate order processing.
- Handle outbound communications to the sales team to address issues and provide answers.
- Respond to incoming calls, assisting in the resolution of inquiries and complaints.
- Input order information into custom tracking and database applications.
- Ensure proper filing of all incoming emails.
- Conduct verifications of order processing, including support for Build Planner.
- Connect callers with the appropriate level of expertise when necessary.
- Collaborate with field sales teams regarding customer cancellations and credits.
- Perform proactive follow-ups with sales teams and healthcare providers on unresolved issues and unusual orders.
- Generate reports as required by accessing electronic folders, applications, or spreadsheets.
- Support GMP compliance by completing recertifications and training assignments promptly.
- Maintain a professional business image through appropriate communication (verbal, written, and electronic), attire, and behavior.
- Ensure all interactions uphold the highest ethical and professional standards, delivering quality work in alignment with company values.
- A technical degree or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience in a Medical Device or Healthcare setting.
- Preferred experience in medical device manufacturing.
- Familiarity with SAP is desirable.
