About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Repair Technician to join our team at C.T. INLET MARINE REPAIRS INC. As a Marine Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of marine equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine equipment, including engines, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on engines and other marine equipment.
  • Documentation: Document all inspections and tests made on engines and other marine equipment.
  • Estimation and Advice: Estimate repair costs and advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide on-the-job training to ensure the development of our team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, excellent oral communication skills, organized, and a team player.
