Job Summary

The Société Financière Manuvie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Contract and Risk Management Director. As a key member of our Vendor Information Risk Management team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments on information security controls and providing business advice and guidance on IT risks and contract gaps associated with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough information security risk assessments for new and existing vendors, reviewing IT controls, business continuity/disaster recovery controls, and subcontractor reviews.
  • Perform on-site visits with suppliers, either in-person or virtually, to evaluate their security controls and risk management practices.
  • Review and recommend IT contract clauses to ensure alignment with our organization's risk management policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and implementation of information risk policies and procedures, as well as monitoring processes and measures to enforce those policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with new issues and innovations in the field of information security and risk management, and apply this knowledge to maintain our organization's technical expertise.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in third-party risk assessment, with a strong background in IT auditing or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are required, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to balance competing demands with minimal management direction.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a passion for risk management and a positive attitude.
