Position Overview:
As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I, your role will involve conducting a range of standard technical radiological imaging procedures on patients to assist in diagnosing diseases and medical conditions. You will be responsible for interpreting physician requests, preparing and evaluating patients for imaging, and generating high-quality diagnostic images for review by Physicians or Radiologists. Additionally, you will contribute to the upkeep and management of imaging equipment. Your responsibilities may encompass various procedures, including general and portable radiography, mobile and surgical suite imaging, as well as fluoroscopy when necessary.
Required Qualifications: - Completion of a diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program.
- Active registration or eligibility for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
