As a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail stores. This position involves unloading trailers, processing merchandise, and moving pallets to the sales floor, while maintaining a safe and clean environment and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Unload and Sort Merchandise: Unload trailers and sort general merchandise, ensuring that products are accurately received and processed.
- Process and Stock Merchandise: Complete live unloading of all remaining merchandise, maintain cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving and stocking, and pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
- Provide Customer Service: Assist in stocking the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when necessary, ensuring that customers receive a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment: Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately receive and process merchandise, ensuring that products are accurately stocked and displayed.
