Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Sang's Tile and Flooring. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles, mosaics, and other types of flooring materials in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tiles
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials as needed
- Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
- Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
- Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
- Install tile strips
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in tile setting or a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to distinguish between colors and work with a variety of materials
