Core Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support clients in their estate planning endeavors, including the preparation of essential documents such as wills, trust agreements, and protection mandates.
- Provide strategic advice to clients regarding succession planning to help them realize their personal objectives.
- Play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing a dedicated team focused on estate planning and succession, while overseeing their contributions.
- Engage in firm-wide initiatives such as seminars and networking opportunities to bolster the firm's visibility and reputation.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Active membership in the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Possession of the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation or an advanced qualification in taxation is advantageous.
- Proficient in team collaboration and file management.
- A keen interest in working within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Access to a vehicle for client meetings.
