About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Commercial-NDS Ltd. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate estimates of labour and material costs for our building construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for building construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Develop and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
Requirements
  • 1-7 months of experience in estimating or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of estimating software and tools, including Xactimate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
