Job Title: Caretaker I

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Caretaker I to join our team at East Lake School. As a part-time caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Maintain the appearance of school buildings, contents, and furnishings
  • Perform building security checks as scheduled
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals
Requirements:
  • Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
  • Certifications from cleaning organizations are considered an asset
  • Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
