Join Our Team as a Chemical Process Operator
Dulux / Betonel is seeking a dedicated Chemical Process Operator to enhance our production capabilities. In this role, you will play a vital part in our manufacturing processes, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products consistently.
Your Impact: As a Chemical Process Operator, your contributions will directly influence our operations and the satisfaction of our clients. You will oversee the maintenance and operation of our electro-coating and powder coating lines, ensuring optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and supervision of all production lines, adhering to scheduled times.
- Manage chemical processes, including making necessary adjustments and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Run tests on phosphate, paint, and powder-coated panels to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain calibration and correction factors for laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy in all measurements.
- Oversee wastewater treatment systems to guarantee compliance with environmental standards.
- Handle laboratory records and experimental data, ensuring meticulous documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and confined space procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating e-coat process lines.
- Familiarity with statistical process control and measurement system analysis.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including afternoons and weekends as needed.
