Job Responsibilities

As a Continuing Care Assistant with Health Careers in Saskatchewan, you will provide personal care and activities of daily living for clients to encourage optimum level of functioning. This includes supporting clients in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and autonomy
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
