We are seeking a skilled Laundry Specialist to join our team at HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HOTEL & SUITES HOTEL. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our laundry facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Mix and Add Chemicals: Prepare and mix detergents, dyes, bleaches, and other solutions to ensure optimal cleaning results.
- Operate Laundry Equipment: Use industrial machines to dye, spray, re-oil, and re-buff suede and leather garments, as well as operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers.
- Hand Finish Garments: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments.
- Inspect and Record: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure they meet our high standards, and record any damage or improper cleaning.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with our housekeeping team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient processing of laundry.
- Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
